• A great machine
Cons: Not a good choice for companies that print a variety of different labels; every time new labels are installed the first couple will be wrinkled (Similar to Zebra’s Z4, ZM series printers) Consider the I-Class instead.

• Sophisticated controller: Multiple emulations (Zebra, Intermec, etc.) Datamax’s Flagship printers
Cons: Media loading not quite as easy as I-Class.

Performance
Pros: The most advanced – and unique – line of Datamax printers. All Performance series printers are HP LaserJet compatible (PCL5e emulation) Ideal for SAP applications
• A complete line of high performance printers in 4, 6, and 8 inch widths and 300dpi resolution, with a single 600dpi model
• Center justified for less wrinkle issues
• Automatic head pressure adjustment (except entry model)
• Improved head mounting for exceptional head life and print quality
• Ability to store printer parameters as user-defined formats
• A near-edge model that prints on the thickest materials (up to 0.025" (0.635mm))
Cons: Standard Portrait orientation is the opposite of all other Datamax printers (Of issue for preprinted forms)
• More hassle to switch from narrow to wide labels or vice versa.
